Steven D. Zimmerman, President and Owner/Broker, Restaurant Realty Company

Steven has personally sold nearly 700 restaurant, bar/or club businesses since 1996 and completed over 2,000 valuations. (see the section titled Restaurants Sold). His real estate experience also includes sales, acquisitions and management of numerous properties throughout California including restaurants, hotels, apartment buildings and single family homes.

Prior to starting Restaurant Realty Steven had over 20 years of restaurant experience and was President and Chief Executive Officer of Zim's Restaurants, which was one of the largest privately owned restaurant chains in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Steven is a graduate of the University of San Francisco's School of Business Administration and Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration. He holds a California State Real Estate Brokers License, State of California College Teaching Certificate, and he has earned the industry's top designations for advanced education which include: the Certified Business Broker (CBB) designation awarded by the California Association of Business Brokers and the Certified Business Intermediary (CBI) designation awarded by the International Business Brokers Association.

Steven has taught management courses at San Francisco City College Hotel and Restaurant School and the former School for Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management at Golden Gate University. Steven has been a regular guest lecturer at the California Culinary Academy (CCA) in San Francisco for several years. He is a member of the Golden Gate Restaurant Association, Cornell University's Hotel Society, Cornell University's Real Estate Council, California Association of Business Brokers (CABB), and the International Business Brokers Association (IBBA). Steven also chairs a monthly community homeless lunch program in Marin County.

Jacob Zimmerman, President and Owner, Restaurants For Sale Online, LLC

As President, Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Jacob Zimmerman oversees Restaurants For Sale Online company operations and strategic development. 

Zimmerman founded Restaurants For Sale Online in 1999 when he saw the need for a niche website for restaurant owner and restaurant intermediaries to connect online. 

Zimmerman has spent over 10 years working for commercial real estate and business brokerages in information technology. Prior to establishing Restaurants For Sale Online, he was Director of Information Technology for Restaurant Realty Company, one of  the largest restaurant brokerages in the nation. Zimmerman's other experience includes various consulting roles at HVS, a global consulting and services organization focused on the hotel, restaurant, shared ownership, gaming and leisure industries. 

Zimmerman holds a B.S. in Hospitality Management from Cornell University.
